EU’s cultural conservation in the context of Muslim

Since the beginning of the XXI century, the EU has always had difficulties in dealing with the consequences of the immigration process. One of these consequences is the negative impact of immigration on the EU culture. The majority of recent immigrants are Muslims from North Africa and Middle East and they have highly concentrated in countries like France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Denmark. The appearance of these Muslims increases the concern of “the Islamization of Europe”. To deal with this situation, the EU has proposed various measures to preserve its cultural identity. In general, these measures have not been successful and they have caused a lot of controversy. Such measures also show that the EU remains “deadlocked” in integrating Muslim immigrants and upholding the values of its culture./.
