New developments in India - Russia relations in 2014

In 2014, relations between India and Russia continue to grow. Many high-level visits have been conducted. Many important events have been organized. The two countries continue to support each other on bilateral as well as multilateral issues. Economic cooperation between the two countries has progressed. Many large value contracts are signed, many projects are being implemented. Cooperation in energy has achieved new development. Russia will be an important partner and provider of energy for India, both at present and in the future. Defense cooperation remains a highlight of bilateral relations. This relationship has shifted from the traditional model to a new type of cooperation, benefiting both countries. Culture, science and technology relations between the two countries continue to be maintained. From the reality of 2014, it is expected that in 2015, relations between the two countries will continue to grow better./.
