Viet Nam is fully committed to intensifying Asia - Africa relations

The Bandung principles are woven into Viet Nam’s policy of peace, cooperation and development, in which Viet Nam prioritises the promotion of traditional friendship ties, solidarity and cooperation with Asian - African nations. Globally, Viet Nam advocates to intensify its proactive, active and highly responsible participation in the common policy making mechanism, bringing into full play the common voice of developing nations. In South East Asia, Viet Nam consistently pursues the peaceful settlement of disputes and conflicts on the basis of compliance with international laws, including the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
