Migration has become a shared concern for most countries in the world. The movement of human beings within one nation or among nations has become a pivotal policy issue, not least in the context of globalization and integration. When migrating abroad, migrants are prone to difficult living and working conditions and they are also more vulnerable to unexpected events of recipient countries. The influx of migrants is affected by external events and beyond control: for instance, economic and political instability, disasters and potential conflicts in recipient countries.
