The Development Trends of World Economy up to 2013 and Problems Facing Viet Nam in its International Integration

From now to 2030, the global economic reform wave will rapidly spread all over the world after the global economic crisis and economic development in accordance with the commodity economy model with tighter governmental regulation becoming the common trend for all countries. In this setting, the world economy will mainly revolve around three major economic groups: The European group, centered around the European Union; the American group, around the United States and the Asia-Pacific group, headed by China and Japan. These three groups will continue to exert their influence on and play a decisive role in the global economic development in the coming years. From this trend, most countries will work out their own domestic economy stabilization strategies, and then carry out export-oriented industrialization, trade liberalization and proceed to integrate into the region and the world. However, these countries will likely maintain a discreet protectionism policies under the guise of technical barrier, quarantine or environment protection. On the basis of this forecast as well as Viet Nam's current international integration situation, in this article the author gives thirteen suggestions for Viet Nam's international integration process until 2030 so as to ensure sustainable economic growth.
