Renewal of Thinking on Vietnam’s Diplomatic Activities.

According to the author, new thinking in diplomacy is reflected in the observation and evaluation of the world situation and international relations, the new trends, and the changed perception of security and development issues, etc... The author therefore attempts to analyze the process in which our Party and State have applied new thinking to foreign policies over the past 20 years and recorded major achievements in the multilateralization and diversification of external relations. He concludes by emphasizing that this process must be continued if Vietnam wants its foreign policy to be perfected in substance and serve as the foundation for putting forward new guidelines for our Party and State’s external relations.
