France under the Nicolas Sarkozy’s Regime: a Traditional Diplomacy or a New turning-point.

Nicolas Sarkozy is the new face of France. His succession to Jacques Shirac as the 6th French president could bring about potential changes in many fields of the country, including the foreign policy. The need to adapt to the fast-moving modern world was  a key point in his inaugural address. So would his foreign policy differ all that much from Jacques Chirac's?. In the article, the author concentrates on reviewing and analyzing the French traditional diplomacy as well as touching upon potential changes in its foreign policy based on the traditional one against the background of the current regional and international situations.
